New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH)

Medically reviewed by Dr. Emma Foster, 17 May 2021

New daily persistent headache is a unique headache that is persistent for over three months, with a distinct time of onset that can typically be recalled by the person. The pain doesn’t have any specific features, but it is often similar to migraine or tension-type headache, or a mixture of the two.
